SUPER PRODUCER is a title that fits Knatty perfectly. Born Maurice Dorsey of Baltimore Maryland, Knatty grew up in a household where everything from rock n roll, reggae, pop, blues, soul, gospel etc, was played DAILY. Nick named the Baltimore Kanye West, KNATTY specializes in all genre of music, hip hop, r&b, soul, neo soul,contemporary gospel, reggae, contemporary country, Baltimore club, go go, blues, pop, a well rounded producer. Knatty is original and that's a very rare find of a producer. He's always experimenting with sounds of all genres creating beautiful melodic music using little to NO sampling, that puts him in a class all by himself as a singer, rapper, producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and musician. His father played for various drum corps and independent bands of the 70s as a drummer and his mother taught color guards all over the state of Maryland. Knatty began as an artist in the early 90s then became a producer and audio engineer under the guidance of Baltimores own, the legendary DJ DEEK. Knatty is a student of music, teaching himself to play the acoustic guitar, lead/electic guitar, bass guitar, percussion, and drums. He's a humble and layed back guy with a love for music, willing to do just about anything for any artists that's serious about their craf.
