Tammy Lynn was originally born in Albany,Georgia and grew up most of her life in the small farming town of Sylvester,Georgia.She started to sing when she was just 4yrs old at her fathers church.The reaction she got from her crowd is what put Tammy Lynn on the track to become a professional singer and entertainer.As she went to school,she joined band and chorus to get the help and experience she needed to progress in a music career.Tammy Lynn was 15 when she moved from her small hometown to Southern Indiana to live with her sister due to her mother being terminally ill with cancer.Tammy Lynn was 17yrs old when her mother passed away.The song "Yellow Rose" which is found on Tammy Lynns album,is dedicated to her Mom.After Tammy Lynn's mother passed away,she started to travel and sing at various local night clubs where she was residing.When Tammy Lynn was at the age of 23 she relocated to California which is where she met her husband Norman.Norman saw something in the way Tammy Lynn performed in front of her crowds,so he began to encourage her even more to pursue her dream.Tammy Lynn relocated with her husband to Las Vegas,NV in hopes she would finally get on the right track to be noticed.After a while of singing in the Las Vegas area,Tammy Lynn felt like giving up because things just were not happening as the way she had planned.One day,while her husband was at a concert,he came across a man name Ricky Scruggs.Norman told Ricky about Tammy and how she was a singer.Ricky left a contact number for Tammy Lynn to reach him.At first Tammy Lynn was skeptical about calling because she had already been let down by people who supposively said they were in the music industry.But something deep down inside encouraged Tammy to make the call.She sent Ricky some video footage of her performing and Ricky had Tammy come into his studio (Scruggs Recording Studio) in Smithville,Tennessee.Tammy Lynn just cut her very first album called "Time Is Right" in Oct. 2010.
