I started doing Amiga music (MODs) around 1988 or so, using SoundFX(rare) and OctaMED(more well known). Later I added keyboard and external stuff, but "Cryptic Tetrad" is what I called myself from about 1989-1991, and it's all Amiga. I've done no real post-processing on this old stuff to keep it real. It's pure digital to digital using uade2 to play the MODs, and lame to encode them. My favorite bands listed are those from that time period, not necessarily what I listen to (much) anymore.

Hello, I am just experimenting a little - posting some old-school stuff here. If you dig MODs, chiptunes, or old 80s video game sounding stuff, you may like my music. It is not really meant to sound like MODs, but I guess that was hard to escape. There's some vocals, guitar samples, and other weirdness. This stuff is now about 20 years old - hard to believe! I made the "Life's Too Mysterious... (Don't Take it Serious)" album in 1991, when I was around 16 or 17, on an Amiga 500 w/ 512MB RAM.
If somebody can think of a better genre for this stuff than Electronic > Minimal, please let me know.
