Christopher Brian Macias, better known as Chris Major, is the intelligent entrepreneur who founded and pioneered New League Entertainment. He discovered his love for music while growing up in Hudson County, where he’d stay up late listening to hot 97, writing rhymes in school, and taking part in street ciphers. At the age of 13 he had his first encounter with a music studio, which gifted him with the vision he still holds today, to be known as the one who brought a new sound and feel to the music scene.
It was never doubted that Chris Major showcased remarkable skills on the mic and production wise, his slick metaphors and great delivery immediately had his high school classmates talking. He was certain he had the talent to make it; yet it wasn't until a severe car crash that he gained the strength and determination to pursue his dreams. He has said that this was the day he realized life was too short to not be living his dream.
In 2011 Chris Major decided to take his destiny into his own hands. He formulated New League Entertainment with the aspirations that it will not only be the next generation of hip-hop, but bring forth a new form of competition as well. As an Ecuadorian American, he breaks all stereotypes and boundaries known to hip-hop. There is no limit to what a man with his mentality can achieve. One word, Ambitious.
