What in the web !!!!!!!

Well the cat is out of the bag and it's not pretty "The web is not not proving to be as creative as some would of thought .Well for me it resides as nothing more than a tool to publish with .Lots of people are taking up up creative forms but still he investment is not there .To learn you have to pay for someone to teach you at higher levels something you need not go to university or college for and that is to be a creative .That is not to say that University does not provide people with useful tools to learn on . The hardest part is to be able to find the time and then when you find the time the support and then the money .On the Mac the tools are out of reach for a lot of people due to cost of each program and if you are independent you have to be able to advertise yourself as any other person who is making a living . So getting to grips with what is happening on the internet and what is happening in the galleries is where the question lies . For me my only experience of exhibition work was with photography and a collaboration project that was in a symposium .Both of which got a crowd to visit which is the main thing but still the bank was empty and so was the offers to further my career in a field that I was more than happy to whittle away my hours on .So the question I asked was it worth it .Well the answer is yes simply but only during the time of study . Sound click is and offer to reach the public and make sales but still the creative learning bit is the hard part to come by .I am lucky as I come from a music back ground so it was always in the air and coupled with my love of music [media] gives me the necessary principles to carry on with what I do .So to end my blog I guess for anyone who is starting out in what ever field of creativity be patient with yourself and look to understand why others do what they do [media] .
