It all started on a sunny afternoon in Fairview, Tennessee. It was a brand new decade, full of hope for the current music scene and trends that would change everything. The previous decade had been ruled by nu-metal and boy bands, which were cloned almost by the hour. On this certain fateful day, Josh Green and Todd Scott met Stephen Sharp. This is where the roller coaster started. Pop Punk and Punk Rock lived in their hearts and influenced every note. They practiced feverishly for the next few months, writing song after song, riff after riff. The first few shows were amazing, in the fact that they were finally doing what they passionately desired and their fans loved every minute of it. Recording started soon after, and they began to lay down these ideas and songs in a certain "HomeBrew Studios." They recorded under the moniker "Broke," but after researching they learned that "Broke" was a popular band name. So, they switched the name to "Lose Even Now" in hopes of originality and remembrance. They played show after show and made several trips back to the studio to record every new song they could. After a valiant effort, the trio decided to take a break. The grind of practice, shows, promotion, and relationships had taken their toll on them. Five long years went by without contact. Then, one cold winter night in 2008 our trio reconnected and decided to give it another shot. A new beginning called for a new name and image. They decided to go with "Silver Screen Farewell." This new beginning brought a flood of new material and goals. They started slowly but have since gained momentum, with hopes of finally releasing a real record in 2011. This brings us to now. We are currently putting the finishing touches on some demos and preparing for another trip into the studio to lay our entire lives down on tape. We are also in the process of finding the right people to help us on our way. After ten years, our goals are set and our instruments are ready. Its 2011, Let's do this!
