How To Use A Blog To Promote Your Beats & Music
Oct 9, 2013
All the SEO gurus are doing it. I've been making money online now for about 3 years not just from beat sales but from multiple sources. I've seen a few people like JeeJuh and Myflashstore.com use blog posts and article marketing to increase their Google rankings and to boost their overall popularity of the site. There are definitely a lot of benefits to blogging. Especially when your putting out valuable information for your target market. So today I just wanted to give out some tips to people who are thinking about starting a blog for their beat site or to those of you who are already blogging and wanna refresh your SEO skills. So I put together 3 Steps #1 It's the QUALITY of the your back-links that count. A lot of people have SEO sorta mistaken. Although getting a whole bunch of links to your site can help you boost your site's Google ranking, your rankings wont be there for long if your back-links are not quality back-links. For example I remember back then using a software to get thousands of back-links to my beat site... Yes my site ranked well but it only lasted about 2 months before Google put it way down to page 3 or something. In case your wondering which back-links count the most...The best back-links as of now come from social media & bookmarking sites. #2 Write ORIGINAL and informative content. Don't copy word for word from another site. Google can detect duplicate content on your blog. That is one way to DE-rank your beat site. Once your ranking is downgraded because of "TRASH" content, it will be nearly impossible to rank it back up. #3 Do you KEYWORD RESEARCH Use Google's Keyword Planner (formally known as Google keyword tool). Use that tool to find out what customers are typing into Google. The will give you a better idea of how many people can visit your site in a month if your website is ranked on the first page of Google. #3 (Part 2) link your keywords Use Your Keyword Phrase in and Around Your Links. For example don't just say "click here" or "for more information visit this site". If the keyword or phrase you wanna rank for is "Buy Hip Hop Beats", then you simply type those exact same words on your blog and hyperlink it to your beat site. There Are Still Lots Of More Tips To Learn Now, of course there is still a lot more to know about SEO and ranking your website. These are just tiny little bits of things that I've learned over the last few months from our blogging community. ==> www.WeWantBlogBeast.com Hope you guys found this somewhat resourceful as I am just trying to help my fellow producers out!
