My name is Devon aka Asani KafeeL. I am from Milwaukee, WI but I currently reside in Chicago,IL. I specialize in songwriting, music production, arranging, and performing. I have hopes of starting an Indie Label , that will house Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, Alternative, and Pop. I am hoping to get noticed by a major label, and hopefully be offered a distribution deal.
Iam currently a freshmen at Columbia College Chicago, studying Music Business. I originally studied music composition. I play piano and Acoustic Guitar. However I don't do live shows, as my skills are not where I want them to be to do that. My main instrument is the "Studio". I love to study recording equipment. I am actually in the process of building my own small recording studio. Like I mentioned before I am a Music Producer, but I am really interested in analyzing the sound of the recordings. I will keep you updated on the progression of my studio and the equipment that I will be using.
