Several years ago I met my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after several years of drug addiction, watching my father destroy his life from using cocaine, seeing a friend overdose, and getting in trouble with the law over and over again. I found myself empty and in need of someone or something to fill the void I had in my heart. I would try to subdue my insecurity with drugs, sex and partying. My father through his addiction would give me Bible scripture's as I was growing up, always telling me that it was the truth and the only way to receive eternal life. After binging on all kinds of drugs, I found myself lost, and addicted to shooting cocaine and heroin. One day I woke up and in my heart I knew there had to be more to life then drugs, I was tired of life as I knew it and wanted help. I looked to the sky and screamed for help believing that God would hear me, and that day he did. Jesus Christ came into my heart and the power of God hit me so hard I almost fell over, literally.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I later found those scripture's in the Bible and God began to speak to me.
From that day forward I knew God was real and I knew I was on my way to heaven.
