Eddie Virgil a.k.a. Epix, growing into his teens he was someone who found poetry interesting and wanted to write poetry also, no music involved just poems. But discovered it was somewhat difficult and unfulfilling to write thoughts or ideas that were just made up. Like if he didn't know where or how to begin. But through the ups and downs of life he learned that the most eccentric poetry contains real life situations and emotions. So not only does he tell stories but also puts his own life in the lines as well. He has been a hip-hop fan since he was about 10 but now seems to pay more attention to the lyrics in songs. Still growing, living, learning, in and out of a relationship, family drama, he was exposed to some of hip-hop's greatest. Nas, 2 Pac, Biggie, Souls of Mischeif, Rakim, and many other's which later began the fueling to his craft. By his junior year in high school he was already developing as an mc, writing rhymes in class, studying other's art and sometimes even copying. Then innovated, made it a priority to be original, freestyling, entering cyphers at school, where ever the opportunity presented itself. It became official that he was becoming an mc, a rap artist whether he knew it or not...
