Born and raised in Hartford,CT;Mike Beats began to recognize that God had blessed him with the ability to express himself musically. At the age of nine he began playing drums at his local church. Time passed by and he discovered the art of producing. After purchasing his first beat machine in his sophomore year of high school,he realized what his life's ambition was, and began to pursue his dreams of becoming a musical phenomenon.It was in college, where he discovered his sound and was also given the name, Mike Beats. Currently, he is unsigned, and still attending the prestigious, Tuskegee University.
