Bob Stubbs started playing drums at age 10 because of a band called "the Twinkeyz"from Northern California.Bob Stubbs got an early introduction into underground & punk rock music through attending this particular bands early rehearsals and concerts at a young age because of Bob's sisters relationship with the bands drummer at the time, Joe Von Hagel.Bob Stubbs received his first Drumkit from Joe Von Hagel, this was an early influence that inspired Bob to play drums.As the early 1980s Music scene picked up,Bob Stubbs was playing drums with alot of known local Sacramento,California & Southern California bands from that time such as:"The Vacant" , "Circle Kross" , "The Authorities" , "True West" , "Social Distortion" , "The Voice" , "Glass Heroes" , Brazen Beat".As of 2010 Bob Stubbs resides in Phoenix,Arizona with homes in Santa Barbara,CA. as well.Bob Stubbs still plays drums,records,releases albums locally in California & Arizona with many talented local musicia

I wanted to let everyone know that you are not forgotten and I will be releasing an actual physical copy of the Brazen Beat album in it's full glory on Vinyl and Compact Disc in the near future.I am currently putting together a brand new band here in Coeur D Alene ,Idaho where I reside now and we will be rerecording some of the songs from "The Xeroxed Pop Robots of the Almighty Brazen Beat" album here in 2025/2026.
