I am a producer / rapper / C.E.O. OF Illwillin Musik Group out of the 215/610 area and here's my story.
Illwill Da Great was born on August 8th 1985 and raised in North Philadelphia. He went threw all the hardships of any other youngin in tha hood growing up in the bad lands, fights, problems in school, and wit other niggas throughout times.
At the age of 13 his family moved to the suburbs pulling him away from everyone he ever knew. Eventually came a new group of friends and Illwill Da Great graduated high school. That summer he lost one of his closest cousins. He moved in his aunt's on Roosevelt blvd where he got backs all of his hood tendencies.
Due to the bad economy and a need to get out the hood again, he enlisted in the army. While attending boot camp his mother fell ill causing him to be needed to home to help raise his sisters. Illwill Da Great lose his mom Feb 11, 2005.
Illwill Da Great was never close to his father which lived with him throughout the kid years which always caused a conflict through his life. He felt lost so he followed his up bringing and returned south for a half of year before returning back to home. Illwill Da Great started rapping in June 2009 to express his pain and inner thoughts as a non violent release after experiencing several life events. He also began making his own instrumentals using computer software with an vst database out of this world.
Illwill Da Great is now a CEO President and artist on his own label Illwillin Musik Group
