At the tender age of three, she made a cameo appearance in a local cable video show called City Rhythms aired in Memphis, TN and co-hosted by her mother, legendary radio personality of the south, Milli Mills. By the time she reached the age of 4, Rumill DeWon Batts had already been spotted with her mother by a talent scout from Pro Scout Talent Agency held in Memphis, TN in 1998. After being selected by Pro Scout, she received an invitation to compete at the National Talent Scout Convention held in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Marriot Hotel.
Today, Rumill is a sophomore at Coppell High School and has already written and produced her first smash single, 'Not the 1 for me' featuring Kid Cam. This single is available on Itunes, Amazon.com, Cdbaby.com/cd/rumill, Rhapsody.com, and more.
She has performed at the annual Spring Barbeque Festival in Ft. Worth, Juneteenth Concert in Denton, Open Mic Night at Embargo in Ft. Worth, 97.9 the Beat FM Live Summer Tours, Back 2 School Talent Show & Music Festival in Duncanville, Back 2 School Skate Party in Duncanville, South Dallas Cultural Center's "Take It To The Stage", 2010 Harambee Festival in Dallas.
You can also catch her performing at this year's Kwanzaa Fest in Dallas and weekly every Friday night at the House of Blues in Dallas.
