On July 8, 1987 Core was born to a family of four brothers and sisters. Being raised on 7th street in South Philadelphia, it wasnt hard for Core to adopt the stage name CorSection7. As a child, Core attended Abigail Vare, where he won a Basketball Championship his 8th grade year.(RIDIN DIRTBIKES?)He also attended Bok Edwards High but graduate from John Bartram High in 2006. Never having rap as a priority, Core wrote his first rap at 13 years old. As he recalls, there was a lot of cussing. He would attend studio sessions with his cousin Meach and his older brother Montez, (Lil Tez) a.k.a DirtBike at "Off The Hook" studios where known artist like Ahken laid his tracks. Core helped DirtBike write his unreleased mixtape "Where that Bread at" before his tragic passing on January 3o, 2007.(ADD MORE ABOUT BROTHER!!) He recorded his first freestyle off of Waka Flocka's "O Let's Do It". Later, he went on to record his first song "Realer" with producer Jnat Beats at "Advanc' Over" Studios. (Making of SME) "Never in my days, would I think I would be a rapper. If I wasn't doing this for the streets, I would be in the streets" When asked why he started rapping (NEED DIRECT QUOTE) Core has toured with local philadelphia rapper Reed Dollaz and worked with producers such as Scott (FlightSkool), Jnat Beats, and Advanc Over. Some of his influences were famous rappers such as Jay-Z, B.I.G., Tupac, T.I., and Jeezy. Other influences were Philly underground artists like Mel SP of PopKlubClick, Major Figgas, Gillie Da Kid, Spado and Black Dinero.
