Raspy Rapsody is a lover of music. She has been engulfed in music since she can remember. Growing up in the church (where her mother was a pastor) she learned how to get into the groove fast! Now, years later after being the youngest grandchild and learning the ends and outs music for herself, she is putting a dent in this music thing. Whether it's producing, engineering, writing, singing or rapping... she does it. Her main focus is to make good music to listen to. Good unadulterated music, so just sit back & listen!

I'm wondering today as I set up another sound click page and decide to persue things for this next Mix Tape... where has music (not just hip-hop) gone? But hip-hop in particular... it should be music to take you away from the very life around you and make you feel GOOD for that 3 1/2 4 mins of the song. Now anymore, people rapping about drugs, cars, clothes and materialistic things that can't change you as a person, only your appearance. I pray that when I make it in this industry (hoping they don't chew me up and spit me out because I'm not full of crap and will not do ANYTHING for a buck) I hope I don't change....... ~Rapz~
