My music represents the individual behind the alias. Although Alter Ego is just that; an alias used to describe a person, Alter Ego and Shane Morgan are the same. My views and perspective is my own. My words and opinions are my own. My message is universal. The path to enlightenment is balance and harmony. Black and White. Every color of the spectrum between the two. My music is everything. Dark and Light. Day & Night. Good & Evil. War & Peace.
Virtually all Hip-Hop artists (and most other artists for that matter) have an alter ego. All artists must also possess somewhat of an ego in order to do what they do well and be successful at it. My ego is enormous. My alter ego is Alter Ego. You can call me Ego for short.
