Accomplished and enduring professional singer.

A consummate experienced professional performer with a diverse range of experience dating back to his teenage years back in the late 60s. Classically trained from age 16 and knows how to use the voice as an instrument and adapt to most genres with ease. From age 13, fundamentally, an acoustic performer with guitar and vocals but equally at home with other genres such as, COUNTRY, POP, ROCK, SWING, SHOW MUSIC. On stage, David has an extremely laid back approach that instantly puts his audience at ease. There are no gimmicks or show bissy razzmatazz to distract you, just the man, with his pleasant manner and superb voice. CLARITY DICTION LIGHT & SHADE, everything a good singer needs to turn the song into a story worth listening to. Today, the world and his wife are all singers it seems, partly due to karaoke and reality TV shows. Many of them have voices but lack experience and do not always grasp the importance of selling the song in such a way that the listener can relate to it. David has this ability and has been enthralling listeners with his vocal talent for over 40 years. During the 70s and up to the early 90s when the clubs were still a thriving part of communities, David travelled and worked all over the UK. His voice has also taken him to America and Australia, parts of Europe and more recently in 2013 a 6 month spell in Rhodes Greece. David has also performed at Corporate dos, weddings, private parties, restaurants, café bars, tavernas, theatres, festivals, TV, radio and even on private yachts. He has done some of this just acoustically with the guitar, this being still very much a part of who he is and where he started. Since 2012, by request, David has on a number of occasions, incorporated into his act, an hour long tribute to the music of Neil Diamond. This is, purely Davids own interpretation of Neils impressive songbook and NOT, just another tribute However, having said that, the sound is superb.
