Unseen—producer, music mogul, visionary, director, and entrepreneur--began his production career with 120-minute cassette tapes and a Casio SK-5 in East Harlem, NY. Four-year-old Unseen taped Mr. Magic , Red Alert & his father’s jazz collection. By two-years-old he was humming entire Jazz records. He was destined to live a life of music. Purvis Unseen White III was born on March 22, 1979 to an African American father and Trinidadian mother in Denver. After is parent’s divorce, he moved with his father to East Harlem in 1982. His father, a big jazz fan, exposed him to Bob James, Mile Davis, Rick James, Quincy Jones, James Brown, and other influences. His uncle, Earl, ran a numbers joint on Lenox, had a candy store, a limo service, and taught young Unseen and his cousins the hustle of Harlem . In 1990, Unseen, moved to New Jersey. He began Ding local parties with his partner C-lo. Throwing basement parties and doing mixtapes. Later on he joined the 54th Regiment, a Jersey super group who came after the Fugees and the Outsiderz. They showed Unseen that a group of talented people could make a impact in the music game. During his senior year in high school he started a label with his cousin Deshawn Green called True Essence Records. The first release was in 1999 with a group called Crawlin Linx .Soon after that Unseen started working with Just from the Black Sopranos, who created ties with Kay Slay. Kay Slay was the new number one Dj in the New York City Streets with the Street Sweeper Series with the Black Sopranos was featured on. Kay Slay showed them how to take over the market with the mixtapes. He told us " You have to brand your name to get more business . He said Funk Master Flex told him that . Making Trips back and forth to New York Unseen interned his way in the Universal Building. He had to 7 day intern with A&R Deo at Motown. He learned under the F.E.D.S Magazine for years. By the time he was 23 The Co-CEO /Producer was featured in Sept o2 Double Cover Issue The Source Magazine’s Independent’s Day column for the 54th Regiment Album . The Next year True Essence Records became the first Independent Label to receive a write up in the Featured Section on AllHipHop.com. His discography includes the albums "Civil War," "The Connect," and "The Connect Pt. 2." . In 2004 the radio show was on air .WWW.ALLCITYRADIO.NET. All City Radio leaked all exclusive records by major artist , Mixtape songs and gave exposure to new artist with a 4 hours of a playlist .All City Unseen's production Credits include Half-A-Mil, Jim Jones,Cory Gunz , Bun B, Joell Ortiz, Stack Bundles & Riot Squad, Tom Gist, Bezel, Mel Matrix , N.O.E , 40 & Ma Barker, Nucci Reyo, Crawlin Linx ,The Black Sopranos , Sam Scarfo, Un Pacino, Smith N Wesson, Rampage . In 2007 he created a partner ship and assistant is design for Baum-Chelle Clothing. In 2009 he set out to design All City Clothing and create All City Media
