Simply put, I am a writer. I wrote the lyrics for "Cookie in the Sky" as a gift to my son and daughter-in-law for their wedding day as a mother-son dance. A friend of mine composed the music and sent the song on to a Nashville studio for production. The singer for our song is a studio singer. Our goal is to get the song heard. We believe in this song and the message it carries for those moms who raised their sons alone.
