Connecticut-based rapper/producer "Shining Knight" fell in love with hip-hop at the age of 12 & has been involved in the industry ever since. His first release "With My Laces Tight" introduced his hometown to him & created a small buzz at local stores, barber shops, & clubs in the area. He deepened his fan base & extended his following more in 2008 when he released 3 mixtapes at once. "The Red Tape", "The Blue Tape" and "The Green Tape". Later he compiled all of the fans' favorites with additional unreleased tracks into a mix tape entitled "One Knight Stand". In early 2010 he engineered, & was a strong part in the writing of, a group album that flooded the streets & took the internet by storm. Rappers "X-Caliber" & "Uh-Oh" helped to constuct "Connecticrookz - Limited Commercial Interruption", a 25 track album that showed his fans, as well as critics, just how versatile Shining Knight was. Covering all grounds, from romantic love songs to street anthems, broken-hearted music to depressed conversations with his 40, it's no surprise that this album quickly elevated him into 1 of Connecticut's most watched rappers, & prepared him for the next move in his career. ATLANTA! In the summer of 2010, Shining Knight moved to the Metro-Atlanta area to attend SAE Institute of Atlanta for audio engineering. He started interning at Stankonia Studio's under well-known Big Boi producer, "JBeatzz" & has been providing rappers all over the country with high-quality instrumentals ever since!
