Welcome to a new dimension of sight, sound, and mind. A place where imagination, atomic percussion, and elusive melodies inspire dynamic lyrics and musical harmony.
Jae "Sygns" Serrano, born and raised in Philadelphia, entered the world of music production at age 11. Inspired to take the production reigns after attending several recording sessions with local artist, and relative, Tee Dawg, he began training himself to put together beats using complex strings of samples and drum loops and was later taught to use the MPC3000. Around this time, he banded with friend and fellow producer RockJones to form The Pyromaniaks, blending their respective sounds. Although the duo was short lived, Sygns has taken his experience to new heights, producing compilations with numerous unsigned producers, and assisting in the development of another artist and close relative, Lady Onarres', sound. Later down the road, this relationship would lead to the formation of an experimental band LEV.4 with Onarres, Keem Breeze, and Grim Vinetalli.
Moving from Philadelphia to Upper Bucks, Sygns furthered his music education in High School where he studied production and theory. Developing a unique essence and combination of sounds from various genres of music, he began to incorporate them into his productions. A maturing sound and style leading to penning songs, making beats, and producing for his peers, bands, and other local acts.
In the Summer of 2010 Sygns relocated from Pennsylvania as a whole, heading to South Carolina. In a new area, where the musical styles were relatively different, he engaged production from a different angle and began immediately working with unsigned artists Tee Dawg, and Anthony Diamonds in Sumter, and Columbia respectively.
With 10+ years of experience slowly accumulating and budding into a dependable genius, Sygns is only at the beginning of his career. Determined and focused on making an impact in music, Sygns continues to hone his skills in fresh terrain. Taking a vow of only giving his all and finest, he creates an entirely new dimension of music where imagination and perception play a major role in the advent of his success.
