BIOGRAPHY
Born in Jos, Plateau state, E.M has been singing since he was 6yrs old. Being the son of a minister, E.M started singing in the church and still today continues to bless people with his smooth and unique vocals. At the age of 10yrs, E.M moved to Mahe, Seychelles islands with his family. That marked the beginning of a wonderful journey into becoming one of the most influential male entertainers of our time.
E.M has a smooth, rhythmic and flexible style of his own. Upon meeting him, he has this infectious smile and sparkling personality that will win the heart of music lovers all across the globe.
He credits his role models, R.Kelly, Tonex, Neyo, Abase and Jesus for giving him the puzzle pieces that complete who he is as a person and entertainer. Unlike a lot artists out today, E.M states, “I can REALLY sing, rap and I write my own stuff!” Growing up in the church and being “a preacher’s kid” did not in any way pressure E.M. Instead it gave him the faith and determination to pursue his dreams no matter what.
After returning to Nigeria in 2002, later in 2005 at an Awards night, he was nominated and named best male nightingale.
Today, E.M is currently working on his record label, Blacklip Records Inc. He also does a lot of music production and recordings.The concept behind the label name “Blacklip” is that the music he (E.M) produces comes out of a black man’s lips. His RnB single “hypnotized” has got him a lot of attention from music lovers across the globe.....
