Crooked cautious also known as jay c was born in houston tx. As the only child i kept to my self. So it was me the t.v and the radio. i got in to gangsta rap cause my dad was in to n.w.a. so my heart was turned to the west even though my father was originally from Petersburg Virginia. even tho i was from the south i had a west coast mentality. but i then start branchin out to the biggies the ugks. during this time i was on the block so i got the name crooked which was givin to me by one of my cuz during this time it started off cool but for me times got rough. it was gettin hard for me to keep goin. i felt like i had nobody but all i felt i had was my music thats wat really kept me goin so then i start listening to music that describe my feelins ya kno so i start cuttin fa z-ro cause he rapped about shit i go thru and can relate to. but i still kept alot of shit bawled up and need away to let it out so i started writing to get shit of my chest.this is wen i met p and he was the one who gave the cautious the reason cause he felt i was laid bacc in alnost any sistuation.even wen i was goin tru hard time i kept a cool head. but my heart had a lot of pain in it.so i put that pain in myy music and at that poin u could hear it in my my music. so i wanted to right music for people like me you know the outcast.the people goin tru that emotional pain so i then jus developed the alias society outcast rappin about wat i kno and wat i been threw. but i also like to play with words and phrases. see my style is very unorthsdock with the way i talk and wat i wear.see i keep it gangsta.people thought it was wierd fro me to wear orange alot with my dark complexion but i could give a shit about wat people think about my style. Cause at the end of the day they gonna try yo get like me. And my style on the track is the same way i try to bring that out in my tracks.this is my heart music is my soul so every song u hear u hear a pieace of me
