****UPDATE: TOP NOTCH RECORDS IS NOW THE NEW OFFICIAL LABEL PLEASE DISREGARD ALL YOU SEE HERE*****
READ BEFORE FRIEND REQUEST BELOW!!
Why am I here? To mostly release tracks to good artists. Also, and to possibly find a new vocalist that can work with my style of beats.
*****Please dont be fooled by this somewhat plain page that some of these people pay designers to trick out. At least half of them are bootleg artists(not legal artists) even if there appear "legit" and dont even "legally own their music*******
How I Work:
I work in all seriousness that I have for the industry. I only want to work with people that are here to be successful And have proper copyrights and their society(ASCAP, BMI, etc) Also, I would rather have artists contact me on the subject of collaboration more so than other producers.
If you dont know the ways of business in this industry please dont waste your time messaging me or trying to add me as a friend. Please educate yourself before trying to take this serious as the real players are.
BOTTOM LINE NO BOOTLEG MUSIC! NO BOOTLEG ARTISTS!!

Kid Wit Da Flow Mixtape

Michael DeAngelo's "Kid Wit Da Flow" Mixtape Mixed By DJ Scrill of the ShoNuff" crew. Note that recording equipment was low grade at the time but we now are up to potential radio broadcast quality.
Mixing And Mastering
Aug 6, 2010
MIXING: 1st off, when someone asks us to mix a track, song, or beat, to a person who is actually educated in this field would balance out the track so that nothing is drowned out or overwhelming and bring up the "references" to industry standard. Note: if you ask for a mixdown and you have already mixed it improperly, futher mixing is pointless and it is better off to mix it down again from the start. MASTERING: When someone asks us to master a track I have to sound like a geek and explain to them the difference. You usually dont usually master one track, you master all of them and get their volumes to match so that way you dont have to turn up or down the volume every time you change the song. There is also Frequency tuning that is something that you will only really understand if you went to school for it or self-taught yourself On top of all that: Proper mastering is largely dependent on the environment! EX: You can have the best equipment in the world, but setup in the school gym with lots of echo and reverb, your mix is done before started!!. The echo, verb and its time responses end up blending in with your speakers, effectively altering, coloring and changing what you need to hear, --- only your loops---- only your voice-----and nothing else!. Think of the gym as a VST echo plugin effect you cant bypass or delete. 100% of any CD, DVD, or game that is bought off the shelf, and hear on TV is Mastered.--- Mastering rooms are specially designed to correct time and frequency allowing the engineer to hear phase shifts costing hundreds of thousands to millions to build, anything less is not mastering, I call it pre-mastering. If you have even bothered to read all this consider yourself a little more educated so when you ask a studio for services you know what to say.
