I'm just another guy, still in my 20's, but with enormous pretentions and quite a nerdy approach to just about anything I lay my hands on. The thing I mostly like to lay my hands on it music, obviously - listening, assimiliating and making. My main aesthetical era seems to have landed somewhere in the early 70's with progressive bands such as Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd and all those dudes with Mellotrons and doubleneck guitars and whatnot. Hard rock and metal like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Budgie is always welcome as well as the company of artsy-fartsy acts like David Bowie, Steve Harley and ELO. Beatles are always there in spirit (as should be the case for every serious musician, and that's not an opinion!) as well as The Who (who kicks the arses of Rolling Stones for breakfast). That doesn't mean I'm not treading more contemporary water as well; Flaming Lips are among my favourites for example, and britpop like Blur and Oasis goes down well. Electronica is my most recent acquaintance with the likes of MGMT, Röyksopp, Future Sound of London and such. All in all, good music is always good music. Though it seems to have peaked around 1972.

I've finally put up my project/band on this site so all fans of progressive/psychedelia/indie should check it out. I believe you should but there are no obligations. But I think you should. I would.
