Tania Nicole, real name Latonya Shorter, is a native of Hartford Connecticut. At the age of 3, Latonya would be known for imitating her family members especially her mother who performed as a singer at a number of different venues during the artist early childhood. By age 7, she began to use her inner talent on the keys– never receiving formal training but, had a natural ability to play.
After graduating from high school, she moved back to Miami, for the second time, where she auditioned and landed a spot on the TV show “Make It Happen” as a singer/songwriter performing original tunes. Later that year Motown artist “Lathan” auditioned singers for a performance in Miami. Latonya made the cut as a background singer, granting her a bigger stage to "SHINE" . This was only the beginning of her resume and the start of an accomplished career.
As time continued, Tania also continued to pursued her career as a singer. Tania’s resume includes backing local artist like, “Strawberri”; touring with R&B legend “Betty Wright” as a backup singer; recording vocals on “DMX” record titled, “Lord Give a Sign”; even touring with International Super Star “Joss Stone”!
Tania Nicole's ultimate goal is to use her experience and knowledge of the industry to live a fulfilling life by doing what she truly loves while enriching the lives of others through her God given talent…Music!
Now as a solo artist. She is ready to show the world Tania Nicole.
