There are a lot of talented people out there who don't know how to properly use the gift that God blessed them with. Hip Hop is being prostituted with the image that in order to be relevant, you have to write songs about drugs, sex, cars or money
Money is a key element to grow socially and to have a powerful voice in different area, however you shouldn’t be a slave to it. I am working towards breaking the mold and to bring something refreshing to those that have been patiently waiting for it to happen in the music industry. Ignorance can be your biggest obstacle, the scripture says: ‘’My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge’’. We should all be more careful about what we say and the way we act. Especially if you’re in the music industry, since music is a powerful channel to bring your thoughts to the masses.
To be a great artist you don't have to be a hustler, sell drugs or be a thug, you shouldn’t be ashamed of being educated and articulated because the depth of the words in your songs will tell if you are built for success or if you're designed for failure. Now the question is: where are you standing?
I go by the name of:Max Cruz and I intend to leave a mark before it’s all said and done. Everybody that are staying true to themselves and that are working hard and persevere even when it seems like there’s no issue I say keep your head up and your faith towards Jesus.
