I'm a semi-professional music hobbyist. I don't know what that means, either, exactly but I've settled on that. I've been making music for 30 years. Primarily I create electronic music and my instrument of choice is the recorder. Not the toy flute we learned Twinkle Twinkle on in elementary school, the electronic device. I haven't actually powered up a magnetic tape machine for a few years, except to digitally transfer content. So, by recorder, I mean any piece of hardware or software that records. My art is recorded sound. Both conventional, again, whatever that means, and unconventional.
