A lyrical bomb-shell at only 18, Martell A.K.A tha Prince has surpassed most in his age group. With a self-titled album and a group that is well known, people wonder what he might do next. From writing hit songs, such as, "She Tha Type a Girl" to "Mommy," people often wonder what inspired Martell, at his young age, to write such compelling songs on subjects that most 17 year olds would not think about on a normal basis. To these inquires, he simply answeres, "Well, it's not usual to see an upcoming artist talk about such things but I like to connect to my listeners by showing them the way not only in their times of loneliness, but as well as their times of greatest joy. For a fact I know that everyone can relate to my songs because my lyrics are so deep and well thought out in such a way that they can be interpreted in diverse ways and relate to the needs of each individual. To tell you the truth, sometimes I find myself sitting by the window with a drink and music will start flowing through my mind and all I do is write down how I feel and the next thing you know, it ends up as the next big hit. This process is so ironic and very hard for many to imitate, but this just goes to show you how talented I am." With the new album on the way called " In the Life of a Prince" people sometimes ask Martell what he has in store! "Well," he responds, "just listen out for some more of my compelling thoughts and get ready to view life from the eyes of a true PRINCE, that is of course, me...Martell."
