WHITE CASCADE RELEASES THEIR SECOND EP, EP2
Raleigh, NC, 01/02/12 - As a follow up to the more obscure, obtuse recordings of the past, WHITE CASCADE is releasing a new EP that reflects the cemented ethos of the band to constantly shift into new territory. With a healthy disdain for the ‘same-old’, EP2 delivers a new vista of Kraut-influenced dance beats and space funk, all while maintaining the WHITE CASCADE’s world lensing via effects-laden shoegaze.
As a special gift to their devoted local following, WHITE CASCADE will be releasing their newest EP at KINGS BARCADE on FRIDAY, JANUARY 13. They will be joined on the stage by Greensboro’s efficient THE BRONZED CHORUS. Doors are at 9pm, show begins at 10pm. 50 hand-numbered "special edition" copies of EP2 will be available for purchase at the show. These special edition copies include the original 4 tracks of EP2 on side A of the cassette, and a special remix of the dance track Again and Again on side B. Download codes will be included on each cassette along with a QR code to facilitate direction to the hosting site.
