MistraLè is kind of an ensemble. The generally accepted meaning of the word ensemble is : a group of separate entities that contribute to a coordinated whole…A fluid mix of different artists and musicians, but with one permanent member who features in some way on every track.It all started when the publicity shy founder member of MistraLE found working for the corporate music industry straight jacket was not for her, she wanted to do things her way and get back to having fun with music, and so MistraLE was born.
The first single, Dance in the Moonlight was offered to UK record companies, the result was a resounding no thanks! But as the saying goes, if you believe in yourself and don..t take no for an answer,you will eventually succeed. So when French record label Scorpio released Dance in the moonlight, Europes love affair with MistraLE began. Since then they have gone from strength to strength. All done without the usual hype, just good time music and word of mouth coming from spending time on the road performing. As MistraLE..s reputation began to spread, initially a couple of artists and musicians contacted MistraLE about getting involved and appearing on MistraLE recordings, all wanting to get away from the musical demands placed on them by their corporate masters and enjoy the party atmosphere that pervades through everything MistraLE does,whether it be recording, rehearsing, songwriting or touring.
