I'm really into punk and metal, but I'm eclectic when it comes to my taste in music. I like jazz, old hip hop and video game soundtracks, like Final Fantasy or Silent Hill games. I'd love to get into the business of film scoring and sound and music production for video games.
I used to write band profiles for a San Antonio-based alternative weekly called 210SA, and would like to continue writing about music and more, including fiction novels and scripts for comics, film and animation; maybe even video games.
That being said, I like telling stories through my writing as well as my music. My favorite songs are the kind that tell a story.
I use a Gibson SG with a Line 6 PODxt, FL Studio 9 Producer's Edition (still planning to give Sonar a try), and any cool sounding VSTis or plug-ins I can find. The music I've been working on ranges from punk/metal to techno/trance, and I can't wait to have something finished and up to my personal standards so that I can get something posted on this site.
