My name is A. Jordan Barrow a.k.a ROC. I was born in brooklyn, raised in Rochester. I've been a musician for over 18+ years.. I began my music career @ age 6, playing the drums, and entering many talent shows, growing. At 9 i began to start playing the piano, and figuring out how to play actual songs, and chords. I heard this beat "What about Us" By Brandy, Produced by Rodney Jerkins, and another track of his " Wasn't Man Enough" By Toni Braxton, and i fell in love with making beats. I began composing at age 11, on a Korg IS50, like the only italian made Korg Sequencer, and i've never stopped since then. I loev creating my own new sounds instead of just using standard stuff. I do not sample PERIOD!, I do not use LOOPS PERIOD... All of my music is 100% original, thanks to God for blessing me to be able to do this. I'm in love with music, if i could marry it i would. I love meeting fellow musicians and producers alike. I'm very easy to get along with. I accept only Perfection in the Studio, and i take my music just as seriously as i do my life.
