Ed Lackey has formed such bands as KUBICAL XPHERE and Asylum Earth. Writing and playing guitar since the age of 8, Ed has put together his most dynamic project to date. The band plays all of it's own music written over the years by Ed Lackey. Ded Zephyr is: Ed Lackey Guitar/Vocals; and Karanne (pronounced Karen) Lackey Bass/Vocals; Soon to be announced Drums.

The band is currently recording songs that will be included on the first album. Our Mockingbird studio is the place we'll record most of the songs that will go into the first album. "the Space Between" will be replaced on the album by a different instrumental entitled "Neither Here Nor There" which is another blusey jam that is a bit more refined and has more of a Led Zeppelin sound. We will be kicking off our live shows with a private party at our Drummer's house at the end of August 2010. Venues we hope to conquer are all over the San Francisco Bay area.
