IDORu was born two years after the experi/metal band called CORPS. The two guys writing and composing for CORPS wanted to explore some others musical territories and soundscapes. Very involved, years ago, into gothic and cyberpunk scene, they are playing music for more than twenty-five years and started in new-wave and gothic bands. They also play blues, R'n B' (real one, not the crappy popular soup some are listening to now), hard-core, fusion... in various band from the south of France and Paris for Papa Bronx (aka Machine) and in Paris for Le Hibou. The idea with Idoru is to create soundscapes fighting with life's movies, industrial atmospheres mixed with classical guitar tunes, and using machines and machinic sounds as instruments. Then lyrics have to be played, like an actor would do... It's not the point of singing or doing some lyrical performances witch is important but much more saying important things, telling the people what they don't wanna hear about and witch is the reality, trying to help them wake up and rise a little bit. Education, knowledge, arts, life, sciences, everything is important for IDORu. Everything except the shit that politicians and medias want to put in our head. Papa Bronx aka Mean Machine is a real mad lyric terrorist, he hates politicians and all the establishment around. He hates economic global systems and dreams of seeing societies collapse to permit a new mankind to rebuilt a new society.
