Wow. This site has been up for a long stretch; it is time to update it a bit. I play in several Symphonies in Tennessee and Kentucky. I teach violin and viola and practice violin and viola daily. I record my songs to chill out and because it is the best kind of fun I know how to have (when I don't have any good books to read...). I hope the quality is steadily increasing (as my qrsenal of programs and equipment grows and improves in quality/quantity of choices). A "style" is finally starting to emerge after 8 years of multi-tracking. It is difficult not to get stuck in a process, though...and end up with new old ideas over and over. Lately I've been trying to get back at my songwriting roots and instincts and work the recording process later; you'd think that is obviously the way to do it, but recording can manipulate your perception, time, energies, and attention in a way that almost TAKES THE PLACE of completing the writing of a song before turning on the mics. A mouthful for stranger. -Jennifer S. Warren
