My name is Drew a.k.a. DShuts and I have been making beats for about six years now. I use programs ranging from Logic Studio to Ableton to Reason. My beats are usually made around the artists preference, yet I have a tendency to experiment as well. A typical beat can take me anywhere from a few hours to two days depending on the level of mastering. Though the beats put up on my page are finalized, through an artists request, I can change up any part of it to suit your needs. My beats are all free for now until a steady group of cliental is set. I am always up for suggestions on how to improve my beats or how to change certain ones to sound better, so please by all means, constructive criticism is welcome. Now I am looking to collaborate with a wide variety of artists to put together a free mixtape of all the songs with my beats and post it anywhere and everywhere possible to get the biggest exposure to not only myself, but the artists on the mixtape. I am unsigned, no fancy record label, just my personal home set up so I am very personable and always am in contact with all artists I work with. Though recently I have decided to pursue my dream in music. I plan on attending LA Recording School in October of 2010 to study audio engineering. After I get my associates degree, I will be living down in LA permanently. I make a variety of beats, from Hip/Hop to R&B.
