Born in 1971 in Tunis, Slim the Artist also known as Djslimtheartist begins in the Hip Hop in 1991 as a rapper / producer under the name of Mister LS, he's the precursor of the hip hop movement in Tunisia . The years passed and at the age of 30, influenced by electronic music he decided to go in the fields of the house music as a dj / producer.
Today djslimtheartist use new technology for his Controllerism performances, is different from the classical djing this new technique consists to improvise with samples and sound effects to compose live remixes and live original music by manipulating Midi controllers.
