ENIN “THE ARTIST” aka Enin Perryman, was born in the “Windy City” of Chicago, Illinois. He was reared in Clarksdale, Mississippi (The Home of the Blues). His vocal style encompasses an array of soulful R&B Gospel blends, which reflect the creative culture of the Mississippi Delta. Singing in rural churches since the tender age of five, his grandmother soon picked up that there was something different about him early on. Enin was quickly groomed for music success upon graduating from Fresno High School in Fresno, California where his family later relocated and later attended Berkley College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he honed his songwriting skills. he focused all his creative energy on writing and recording songs which helped to lay a solid foundation for moves in the music industry. As a singer/songwriter his talents in these areas have landed him notoriety with many recording artists, music producers, and industry heads after having recognized Enin’s perfectionist studio work habits and performance creativity.Enin is currently finishing work on a new R&B cd entitled “THEM SONGS” featuring the hit singles “FLAWLESS” and “SHE WAS”, which features the rap artist “MILLION”, to be released in the near future. In addition Enin, as an artist, continues to write music about life, love, relationships, and living, creating real music about real people in love.

WHAT HAS CHANGED ABOUT R&B TODAY

I've been on the scene for a minute now and it seems like no matter how hard I work to achieve that ultimate goal (which I'm going to achieve no matter what) I see how record companies are constantly throwing singers at us with the exact same mold. I don't knock any of the new male R&B artists, they made it to where I'm trying to get to but as I listen to the music, it has lost the elements that made it R&B. It has become so centered around Hip-Hop that pretty soon its going to die out. I want to bring back that old school R&B with a fresh new flavor for all to hear. You all can hear it to as it plays on your stations, so what are you all's feelings on this topic?
