What can I say?? I usually talk to myself not about myself!! I've been trying the last 7 years or so to put something on line. Making the move from studio to PC recording has been "interesting"!! I just didn't feel like waiting any more. I have a basement studio and I just do my own thing. I don't "play" well with others!! I haven't performed live in a long time. Not interested in being part of a band again.
I've been playing guitar and writing songs since I was 13.
My Mom signed me up for guitar lessons. The drive there and back was way too much. I told her I would teach myself. A few failed high school bands followed. So that's what I did until college.
I gave guitar lessons at a way lower rate than the music stores around me. My thought was everyone can't pay a lot for lessons. I started studying classical guitar as part of my music major. Classical was not for me!! My string professor begged me to switch to cello!! I told him guys in tuxedo's don't have groupie's!! He pulled his glasses down and said "You would be surprised young man." As a shock to everyone even me-I joined a country band. It was a great learning and money making experience.
