Having played in a psychedelic jazz/rock outfit (Tribe of the Mountain), a dance rock band (The Jagular Drop), a bluegrass band (The Fodder Beets), an acoustic gypsy folk-splosion (The Better Days Band) and a progressive metal group (Circles Within Circles), C:/Lee (AKA Chris) still had a good many compositions that he didn't have an outlet for. When he reunited with old friend David Frush, now a recording engineer at Ohio University, Cordyceps became a reality.
