Yung Tee & BrooklynKid are two unique artists which consist of Timothy Oliver(Yung Tee) and Leroy Slater(BrooklynKid) who started rapping together in November 2008. Yung Tee was born in New Orleans La in the lower 9th Ward area and also raised in Eastern New Orleans for most of his life, he initally begun rapping at the age of twelve just for fun with his childhood friends and started rapping seriously when he and Leroy Slater met at Wichita Technical Institute in Wichita Kansas where the two resides currently. BrooklynKid was born in Brooklyn New York in the Flatbush area to a single military Mother and started rapping at a early age also, he moved to Wichita Kansas when his mother was stationed there in the early 2000s. The two took the inital step in taking the music industry serious by recording their two singles "Walk Like A Model" and "Sippin On This Hennessy" and with their two singles starting to receive a sufficient amount of buzz all around the internet, the two are prepping their much anticipated official mixtape "Our Time Vol. 1" which is set to be released in early 2010. The two has already stated that "The mixtape is half way done, but we are looking to make an instant classic to let the world know we are going to be here for a long time, so we are working extra hard to insure that this mixtape will be like a more album like project so expect push a few more singles in order to take our listeners through a musical journey."
