Daniel Kimble knows that hip hop is about something positive. Unfortunately, nowadays the radio waves seem to be saturated with messages that are everything but UPLIFTING AND MEANINGFUL. Its once in a blue moon, you can turn on the radio, and not hear the same thing twice. Ipod's shuffle from songs about being UNFAITHFUL, PROMOTING PROMISCUITY, BEING REBELLIOUS, CHASING SKIRTS, TO WHAT ABOUT? 1,000,000 VARIATIONS OF SONGS THAT USE THAT ALL TO FAMILIAR WORD... SHAWTY!!!) Luckily there are still a few artists who continue to keep the soul and heart in their music. But there are not many left. Daniel Kimble is one of those artists. First and foremost he draws his inspiration from on high, as well as from artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Toby Mac, Will Smith, Nas, Fort Minor, and Wordsworth to name a few. With a unique voice, and heart felt witty lyrics, he is guaranteed to capture your speakers, and hopefully touch a few souls in the process. Daniel Kimble has always had a love for hip hop, but never thought he would pursue a course in any form of music. It wasn't until a high school girlfriend told him, that he would be good at rapping, that he gave it a shot. "It was a learning and growing process," he recalls. I would stay in my room day in and day out, writing corny raps. I did a few talent shows, breathed the art of freestyling, and a few years later, finally excelled, and recorded a album at 17 To Be Continued. It received a moderate buzz, and was a definite diamond in the rough." Now 23, and with his new Cd Til We Meet Again, a last minute project. He is continuing to move his way into the spotlight.
