The son of a musician, George “Gino Da Great” Underwood was raised in a household where music was more than an art form, it was a way of life. Gino, who grew up in Monroe, La., was introduce to music at age 6 when his father taught him to play the drums. Hearing his father and mother perform for a local gospel group throughout his childhood eventually inspired Gino to look towards music as a career choice. Since 2002, Gino has provided production for various record labels. Using his distinctive sound of deep south blues and the spicy swag of Louisiana bounce, Gino has brought authenticity to the street sound of today’s rap. Gino is geared up to use his skills on the next level.
