Born Christopher Ryan Robinson 'McNairy Slim' quickly learned success held no boundaries beyond the dirt bottoms of McNairy County. The realization that there has to be more out there than this, more than fueled his ambitions to shed light on the real issues facing the masses alike and dislike. Despite several scholarship offers from prestigous colleges to extend his b-ball dreams, McNairy Slim chose the road to nearby Memphis (the Diamond on the Bluff). This was purely a calculated and educated choice for Slim to continue on tradition in a heritage rich city such as Memphis. McNairy Slim's soulful talents have flourished and grown by immense measures since arriving in the city in the fall of 1999. Under the tutolage of G. Morrison (Conen Jonez) a fellow 45"er, McNairy Slim quickly made a name for himself throughout the state as a writter with the abilities of evoking emotions thru word of song like no other. Together the two headed D.I.G.D.A.T. ENT ( DEVELOPING INTELLIGENT GROWTH DELIVERING ACCURATE TESTIMONIES), making street classics "Country Boy", "Classic Whippin", and "U like Dat". Under his forementioned monoker C.R.O.S.I.N. McNairy Slim released his self titled albumn "C.R.O.S.I.N." in the summer of 2007. Though independently released "C.R.O.S.I.N." set the bar for underground artists then and continues to do so today. Slim's ability to relate visions to words or vice versa per say can be heard vividly thru cinematic tracks such as "Diamond in the Bluff", "Ten-a-key", and "Add-A-Vers-A-Day". Today McNairy Slim is using this as his platform to launch his highly anticipated 'Ear Dope' trilogy with the first sublet scheduled for release in early March 2010.
