D'Chapplin is a young prolific reggae/dancehall new-comer has made already gained some recognition for himself, when he tooK the under-ground music scene by storm with his first debut single 'Black Woman' back in the Winter of 2008. A song that he wrote and had produced by Midway Productions/UK, geared at instilling a certain level of awareness and motivation in the feminine gender. His poetical story telling technique has given his songs a different ear for the genre type he represents and an unique display of expression skills through music.
As his own writer he focus his music mostly around relationships, streets and social issues that generate form time to time. Apart from being called a provocative dancehall lyricist, by some music critics, for his explicit and sexual lyrics. Chapplin aka DC has a wide range of upfull music selections and try to keep his music true to himself no matter the genre.
With his great appetite for music D'Chapplin plans to incorporate his style into different beats and genres of music, hence he is willing to work with other artists and producers. For the New Year a surge of tracks would be poured out on all his related sites. i.e. ilike, myspace, cdbaby itunes, soundclick etc.
There's indeed a lot more to expect from this artist in the near future.
