talented upcoming gospel artiste, songwriter, producer "Prayz" (born Robert Levy) is a gifted and talented minister who displays a unique writing style in various genres of music. Born August 7th 1980 to parents Ernel and Getie Levy who were deeply involved in music in the early 70's and beyond its no surprise Prayz has ventured into the music fraternity. inspired by local artistes such as Bounty killer, Beenie Man, Prodigal Son, Stitchie among others prayz has decided to use his gifts and talents to bring God glory. as a youth growing in the inner city community of Windsor Heights, Central Village, St Catherine Prayz could always be found at home with friends and family having dj contests and writing songs for future clashes. while at school the boys bathroom would be filled to capacity with students as there would always be a lunch time sing off among students. in 1999 Prayz attended a crusade in a small commity in Clarendon call Peckham where he grew for a while with the intention of finding a new girl but God had other plans in store for him that he could not walk away from and from that day until now Prayz has been walking with Christ.
