I been playing piano and key boards since 1962 and been in various bands. First band was The Dynamic souls, the Soul Folks Studied with David Bloom Jazz teacher. I compose and performed all the music played on the keyboards except " Jupiter feat Jake Dawson on guitar.I play all instrument parts on the keyboard, which is my first true love. I started playing piano at age 11 learning classical music at " Chicago Conservatory of Music " and played pro at 14 yrs. I've played with blue,R&B,band in the Chicagoland area. My inspiration is to mix the nuskool and old skool music together. My music is funky beats fuse with jazz solo and stepper dance grooves. Me and Nick Colione had a band call the " Soul Folks ". I just love to write and make funky music. It makes your feet move it make your head move it make you clap your hands. Also you it makes you get up and dance. It you can't get up to dance to funky music you must be cripple. No matter what age you are funky music. I been playing funky music since the 60s. James Brown was the hottest funky music entertainer at the time. In our band we had a lead singer his first name also was James. He had the processed hair style looking like James Brown. He had the loud color jump suits like red, lime green, orange and man can he dance like JB. The people love excitement he shows on stage. He would bounce the mike stand just like JB , Prince, and Michael Jackson. Yes that was Funky Music in those days. I have say one thing about my Father he was a funky dude who like funky music. He would get dress on Saturday night and go out dancing and watching dance to the music. My father use to take whole band to the gig in one car 1964 Olds with those big trunks. We would set up our equipment and play funky music. Today funky music is still around check it out at http://www.smartphoneappstoday.net.
Hello Mr. Green, I just wanted to tell you how much I luv this CD! I really went crazy for the cut “Aint Nothing Better Than The sh*** You Got’’. I was driving down Lake Shore Dr, and me and my boyfriend had a huge fight. Not only does this song have the most slamming beat I have heard in a long time, but the message is super fly! Needless to say I took your advice, so I might be playing this CD at our wedding. No matter what this CD is at the top of my summer rotation . I have also recommend your music to anyone that wants to not just listen to music, But have amazing ride from beginning to end!!! BEST WISHES & KEEP MAKING THAT FUNKY MUSIC! SINCERELY, CHI-TOWN ANGEL
