Dream Academi is the name of the band in which Patrick Aitken is the sole member/songwriter/singer/dreamer. It is also the name of the fictional school where certain people can enrol to discover how to make their dreams come true (Will be featured in the upcoming 'Get It On Top' video clip.) Emerging into the Australian music industry from virtually nowhere he had many varied musical experiences from performing at The Australian Institute of Music to volunteering to sing for the homeless on a rusty piano. From commercial pop hits , and piano ballads Patrick is very versatile and will continue to bring many vibrant influences into his music whilst still maintaining commercial appeal. Patrick has released 'Get It On Top' worldwide through iTunes and selected stores in March 2011 and is continuing to draw more attention as the dream advances.
